This is the house we’re considering for our summer rental this year. I remember looking at this house last season. I LOVE the house. The only problem is that it’s only accessible by 4X4. And guess what I DON’T have. That means I’ll have to rent a car to drive down to the house. That’s an extra almost a grand on top of the house payment. We’re going to try to work out the financials together next week.

I just feel a little pressure about making a decision. Apparently, I’m the only one holding up the signing of the contract. We had originally decided that we were going to look for something under 2k. But somewhere along the way I guess everyone got together & changed their minds - except me. So I’m not feeling really comfortable about the whole thing right now.

But I know me. I’ll end up giving in. Or more like…we’ll end up working it out. And I’ll have a fabulous vacation. I just hope I don’t resent it in the end. But I know me. And I won’t. If this summer is half as fun at last summer, it’ll all be worth it.
